MBHS Weekly Update - Week of 8/28
Posted on 08/28/2023
Greeting MB Families!

Thank you for your patience and understanding with the move to have our first day of school on Tuesday.  It has been a successful opening and we are looking forward to a great 2023 - 2024 school year!

  • LCFF - Each year, we ask you to complete the LCFF form for each student in your household. This quick 2 question survey has a critical impact on support and services offered here on campus and in our district.

The completion of this form helps determine the State and Federal funding that schools receive.

There are 2 different ways to fill this information out this year:

  • Log in to your Parent Portal to complete the form online. If you need assistance with your Parent Portal, please contact [email protected]

  • LCFF Survey - you may also receive an email from the district asking you to complete this form.  You can also use the survey link from their email to complete the 2 question form.

  • Students will be given packets of important information on Thursday, August 31st. This packet includes forms that need to be signed and returned to the school. Please look for these packets on Thursday, review the information, and return needed forms.

  • Photo Makeup Day is Thurs, Sept 7th - students that did not take a photo during orientation will receive a pass to get their photo taken.

  • Student Parking Passes  - Parking Passes will be strictly enforced this week. In order to park in the student lot you must have a parking permit.  If you bought a parking space and want to use it, you must have a parking permit.  You can get a free parking pass from room 154 once all your paperwork is filled out.  Last year’s passes are no longer good.  STUDENTS MAY NOT PARK ON LEE STREET.  Students should park beyond the gates at the football stadium.   Please follow all rules as you can be ticketed. Paperwork includes Parking permit form, a copy of your driver license, vehicle registration and insurance.

  • Attention all students - The last day to change your classes will be Monday, August 28. Please see a school counselor during lunch to make any requests. After that date, the only changes we may make are to change levels, such as "Advanced" to "Regular" of the same class.

  • ACES Tutoring -Take advantage of free tutoring services at Mission Bay High before and after school.  Click the link to view the calendar.  ACES Calendar
