  • Key Club Meeting on Monday, March 15th at 1pm, all are welcome, please join us! Contact: Ms. Almada
  •  ACES - Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 ACES tutoring is available for help in English, History, Math, Science, Spanish, and Writing, and we now feature IB Tuesdays with Ms. Borg. The zoom links are on Canvas and on the MBHS website under Students>ACES Tutoring.
  • Yearbooks - We have limited copies remaining of the 2021 yearbook, and we are quickly heading toward a complete sellout. This year we will feature over 600 current student portraits, coverage of Spring Sports, and over a 1000 photos of every part of this historic year. If you want a copy, reserve it now at

Women's History Month Facts of the Week - March 2021

Fact 1: Marie Curie was the first woman to receive two Nobel prizes. Curie was a scientist whose research on radioactivity led her to discover two new elements. She also researched the atom, and her findings have been integral in scientific advancements related to atomic bombs and medicine, according to Scientific American.

Fact 2: Aretha Franklin, known as the “Queen of Soul,” was the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Fact 3: Sally Ride became the first woman in space on June 18, 1983, when she flew on the space shuttle Challenger. She was also the first gay astronaut, which was revealed after her death.
