General Announcements

  • Illustration Of Pink Tulips.pngSpring Break! Please enjoy your week off! School will be closed March 29th-April 2nd.  Classes resume on Mon, April 5th.  
  • Week of April 5th is the last week of Quarter 3.  Use your time this week to ensure all of your work is completed and turned in! Check Powerschool and Canvas and use ACES tutoring, if needed. 
  • Planning to return to campus - Please ensure that your parents have read the Mar 18th email from Principal Remillard. They must complete the survey for you by March 22nd!  
  • ATHLETICS - Please check the Athletics Website for upcoming games and follow @mbbuccaneers on Instagram for updates.
  • Boys Volleyball and Girls Basketball are still looking for players. Go to for more information.
  • Eco-Club is meeting Thursday at 8:30 on zoom- yes, right before class!  Join us to see who our Drawdown  EcoChallenge champs are.
  • ACES - ACES tutoring on zoom is available every TU and TH from 3:30 to 5:00 and the zoom links are on Canvas and on the MBHS website under Students>ACES Tutoring. We feature teachers and university tutors in English, History, Math, Science, Spanish, and Writing. 
  • Yearbooks - There are only 58 copies left of the 2021 yearbook and we will sell out before they are delivered to campus by June! Once we sell out no more copies will become available so please reserve one now at
  • Know your COVID status, stop the spread, help open Mission Bay safely. Click here for the latest information about free Covid Testing available at Mission Bay High. Testing is now available Every Friday.
  • Drive Up Testing - We are getting reports from UCSD that the MBHS team staff/students are using the wrong link to sign up for an appointment at the drive-up, which is incurring a $65 charge on their account. It will get taken off from the account, but this does take time. To ensure a smoother testing experience. please direct all of your coaches and families to use this info on the drive-up testing centers:

  • Please wash your hands, wear a mask and stay 6 ft apart


ASB Announcements

Women's History Month Facts of the Week - March 2021

Fact 1 - Maya Angelou was an American, writer, poet and civil rights activist who lived from 1928-2014. She wrote and advocated for the civil rights of women and African-Americans. She won dozens of rewards for her writing and received over 50 honorary degrees.
Fact 2 - Rosa Parks is a civil rights activist who is best known for her pivotal role in the Montgomery Bus Boycott. She is referred to, in Congress, as the “first lady of the civil rights movement” and “the mother of the freedom movement.”
Fact 3 - Nine months prior to the historical Rosa Parks action, fifteen year old Claudette Colvin did the same exact thing. She served as one of the plaintiffs in Browder v. Gayle, the case that ended up overturning bus segregation laws in Montgomery.
