MBHS Weekly Update - Week of 4/25

Hello Mission Bay Families!

Here are some important announcements from Mission Bay High School.  We have many important announcements, please read the entire communication.

• The Principal’s Coffee is scheduled for Friday, April 29th at 9:00 via zoom.  SAY San Diego will be presenting information on data from Mission Bay students regarding trends in tobacco/vape use as well resources for families.  Zoom code: 863 0823 4967

• Save the Date for Cheer Tryouts - Please view the Cheer Tryouts Flyer for details

• Save the Date!  Underclassmen awards will be on May 24th and Senior awards will be on May 25th at 6:00 pm in the auditorium.  Students and families will be notified of nominations via email or letter prior to the event.

• The progress reporting period ended on 4/22.  Final progress report grades can be viewed in PowerSchool on 4/29 and an email will be sent to families with the progress report.

• On site COVID Testing:  Testing is now done through Responsive Lab Partners.  Testing is only for Mission Bay students and staff. Testing on-site is done on Thursdays. You will need to register with Primary Health Portal in order to be tested. The link to do that is here:

Appointments are not needed.  Students should report to the Counseling Conference Room between the hours of 9am - 4pm to test on Thursdays

• Please access your Parent Portal to check your students grades, complete annual forms, and/or update contact information. You can print transcripts, email teachers and check attendance through your Parent Portal.  If you do not have a Parent Portal, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

• Attendance Update: We have simplified the attendance procedure for families - please visit our Attendance page. You can now email [email protected].

• Per district guidance, parent access to the campus is limited at this time.  Please do not come to campus unless pre-arranged with administration.
