Memorial Day

  • School will be closed Friday, May 27th and Monday, May 30th in observance of Memorial Day. 

General Announcements

  • Boys water polo meeting in room 353 at lunch on Tuesday, 5/24. Please reach out to Mrs. Campbell for more information. 
  • Textbook Return for Returning 9th-11th graders will turn in all books the first week of June and will keep their Chromebooks over the summer vacation. You may check your library account at and visit the library with any questions or concerns. Thank you, Ms. Reid Wedemeyer
  • Cross Country meeting: Anyone interested in running Cross Country for the fall season, please attend a very important meeting today, May 23rd, at 1:25 in room 184 (Ms. Andrews' bungalow across from the gym). We will be getting organized for our summer training as well as talk about the fall season. Hope to see returners and some new faces. See Ms. Andrews if you have questions
  • Film Festival at the Bay - It is less than 2 weeks until the Soldance IB Film Festival which be held on Thursday June 2nd @ 6 pm in the Auditorium. It is free and open to the public and will include amazing films made by Mission Bay students!
  • Dear Class of 2024, don’t forget to submit your 20 emails on Snap! Raise by June 1st. We appreciate all of you who signed up. We want to make your senior year an amazing and fun year, as a reward for all your hard work!
  • Did you know? Ride for Free! Starting May 1, anyone aged 18 and under can ride transit for free as part of the SANDAG Youth Opportunity Pass pilot program. Get your Youth PRONTO app account or card to get unlimited rides on the bus, Trolley, COASTER, and SPRINTER through June 30, 2023.
  • Cheer Tryouts are this week! Please view the Cheer Tryouts Flyer for details
  • Yearbook Distribution Event - Our yearbook distribution event is planned for Wednesday, June 1 during Period 3 (11th & 12th graders) and Period 4 (9th & 10th graders). This will be a memorable time for us to come together and sign each other's yearbooks. Only yearbook purchasers will receive a pass to this event.
  • Masks - Masks are optional however they are required when in the Health Office or when testing in the COVID testing room on Thursdays. Masks will be available in the office at anytime.  
  • From the Health Office - We have been seeing an increase in COVID-like symptoms on campus recently. If you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose or congestion, sore throat, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea, new loss of taste or smell, headache, body aches, and/or poor appetite, please stay home. Students may return to school with a negative PCR test, or with proof of two negative rapid antigen (home) tests taken at least 12 hours apart after symptoms have started. Take a photo of each test, include the date and time the test was taken, and send the photos to Health Tech Deanna Wolfe at [email protected] to be cleared for school

Attention Class of 2023-2024 (and some exceptional Class of 2025 members)!!! 

We are looking for energetic, positive mentors to lead activities at Freshmen Orientation on Thurs Aug 18. 

Here is our summer training schedule:

Training Day- Mon, Aug 15 9am-2pm (lunch provided)

Freshman Orientation/Link Crew Day- Thurs, Aug 18 7am-3pm (lunch provided)

Freshmen Tailgate- Fri, Aug 26 5-7pm before Home Football Game




If you are interested and eligible (2.0 GPA and CPA) complete this application by Wed, June 1 and receive a Link Crew t-shirt!!! 


Link Crew is a great opportunity and looks fantastic on college and job applications!!!

  • May 25th 6:00PM Senior Awards Ceremony will take place in the auditorium with light refreshments served at 5:30.

Tell Your Parents

  • Principals Coffee will be held on Thursday, May 26th at 9:00 AM. 
  • Please complete Local Control Funding Form for 2022-2023 - This quick survey will have a critical impact on your child(ren)'s support and services. The data collected determines the State and Federal funding that schools receive. This funding provides your child(pen) with support and resources for their academic success. Log in to Powerschool Parent Portal and click on the LCFF Data Collection tab.

  • Underclassmen awards will be on May 24th at 4:00 pm and Senior awards will be on May 25th at 6:00 pm. Both will take place in the auditorium.  Students and families have been notified of nominations via email.
