Greetings MB Families!

  • Halloween is Tuesday, October 31st.  We encourage students to wear Halloween costumes.  Please note that face masks are not allowed and the dress code must be followed.

  • Wednesday, November 1st is a Late Start day.  The first bell rings at 10:08.

  • Winter Sport Try-Outs - due to the success of our Fall Sports and play-off schedules, Winter Sports Try-Out dates will be released early next week.  Check our website for updates.

  • Sunday, Nov 5th Daylight Savings Ends (Fall back 1 hour)

  • Halloween Concert October 31st 8th Period in the Auditorium - Featuring the Wind Symphony, Concert Choir, String Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra

  • P2 Progress Reports - Term ends Thursday Nov 9th - Check your current grades in Powerschool and Canvas so that you are prepared for the grade you will get on your Progress Report. Check in with your teachers, turn in all assignments or coursework and seek assistance in ACES before school or after school for support.

  • Please remind your students to charge their chromebooks at home and bring their charger to school.  We have limited “loaner” chargers and devices.

  • Federal Impact Aid Survey - We are asking parents to complete the Federal Impact Aid Survey online in your Powerschool Parent Portal (in the Forms section so you can complete it on the mobile app).  It represents $10 million dollars in federal funding for the district. The information collected is confidential and will provide federal funds designated to assist school districts that enroll federally-connected students. This includes children of active duty uniformed services personnel, children who live on federal property or in subsidized federal housing, and children whose parents are employed on eligible federal property. Please sign-in to the Parent Portal in PowerSchool and complete the short survey, following the steps below:

  • Select Forms from the left-hand navigation menu, then select 2023-24 Impact Aid Program Survey Form. (in the mobile app, click on the 3 dots in the lower right corner)

  • Follow the prompts and submit the form. Please be sure a confirmation appears before logging off.

  • If you need assistance, or do not yet have a Parent Portal account, please contact Andrea Griffin [email protected]. Visit our support website for more information.

Like with the LCFF form, we thank you for your support of Mission Bay High School programs and opportunities by completing the Federal Impact Aid Survey.

  • ACES Tutoring: Take advantage of free tutoring services at Mission Bay High before and after school. Our ACES Tutoring Program offers students access to teachers across all subject areas and is open in the library in the morning from 7:30 - 8:30 and in the afternoon from 3:30 - 5:00.
