Greetings MB Families!

 

  • Lee Street safety - Thank you students for walking your bikes as you enter and exit Lee Street.  Please practice safe bike riding in the community as well as on our campus.  Students who are walking, please make sure you cross at the crosswalk on Lee Street and look both ways as you enter and exit campus.

  • Yearbook We are approaching a total sellout of the 2023 yearbook! Please note: once it is sold out, no more copies will become available. You can still purchase one of the remaining copies by going to jostens.com or bringing 80 dollars cash or check payable to MBHS to room 342. Along with your yearbook, you will receive a ticket to our catered yearbook party to be held during class in May. Students who do not purchase a yearbook will not receive a pass to the party. Reserve your copy of the 2023 yearbook now before they are completely sold out!

  • The San Diego County Office of Education, Student Wellness & School Culture, in partnership with Rady Children’s Hospital, is offering a four-part Parent/Caregiver Mental Health Webinar Series at no cost.

  • Attention Class of 2026 (Freshman) Parents: Join our Facebook group! The purpose of this group is to connect with other parents, organize fun events for our families, and fundraise for the Class of 2026.  Please join and then spread the word!

  • Ms. Autumn in the library is running multiple Donor’s Choose campaigns for new books! Check out the page at www.donorschoose.org/missionbayhslibrary for more information. Also, share to your social media platforms to get the word out!

  • Scholarship Opportunity!  We are pleased to announce the 2023-2024 Common Scholarship Application is now available for your students. The application, application instructions and resources can be accessed at SDFoundation.org/CSA. The scholarship is open to:

Graduating high school seniors

Students with financial need (includes middle income families)

Students attending four-year universities, community colleges or career/technical schools

  • Friday, Feb 17th and Monday, Feb 20th there is NO SCHOOL in observance of President’s Day
