General Announcements

  • This Friday (2/5) is a B Day
  • Reminder: Report Cards will not be mailed out due to Covid-19Your official Quarter 2 Grades are posted in Powerschool. 
  • Sports Announcement! Please check www.mbbuccaneers.com for updates Jogging Exercise.pngabout the opening cross country, field hockey, swim, and girls volleyball. All four of these sports are beginning the week of February 1st.
  • Please join the Key Club on February 5th at 1pm, everyone is welcome! Zoom Meeting ID 868 3148 1538.
  • ACES Tutoring- Tues and Thurs from 3:30 - 5:00. We have English, History, and Science teachers available, along with a university tutor in Math, and we we offer help on items such as Extended Essay or support in any phase of the writing process for any subject.

    • This is a historic year and you will want to have a copy of our 2021 yearbook, so reserve copy now at the following link, and select Buy Your Yearbook and search for Mission Bay High School:  www.jostens.com. ASB Announcements

  • Virtual Valentine's Day Grams: Do you want to send your Valentine something for Valentine's Day but have no way of getting it to them? We've got you covered with our Virtual V-day Grams! This year you can make a gram for your bestie or partner filled with pictures, quotes and even song requests. Make your own and DM it to the ASB Instagram account @mb_bucs. We will post it to our story on Feb 14 and tag your Valentine so they can feel the love! Don't want to make your own gram, no problem! You can DM us your Valentine's name and Instagram handle and we will make it for you. All grams must be in our DMs by Feb 12 to be posted on Valentine's Day. We can't wait to share the love at MBHS

  • Black History Month Facts of the Week - Feb 2021

    We celebrate Black History Month in order to recognize the many achievements of People of Color, and to honor the contributions of many African Americans to American history.

    • Fact 1- Black History Month started as “Negro History Week” and was created by a historian, scholar, educator, and publisher Carter G. Woodson in 1926 
    • Fact 2- The month of February was chosen to coincide with the birthdays of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln 
    • Fact 3- The NAACP was created in the spur of growing racial violence in the early 20th century. A group of African American leaders joined together to form a new permanent civil rights organization the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People on February 12, 1909 which was the centennial anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln.

  • Senior Portrait appointments can be made at Prestige Studios throughout the month of January and even into early February.

  • Need a Transcript? Effective Feb 1st, you can view and print an unoffiical transcript for your student directly from your parent portal. If you have questions, please contact agriffin@sandi.net  
  • Due to Covid-19, the district will not be mailing Report Cards home. Quarter 2 grades are posted in Powerschool.
