General Announcements

  • This Friday 3/5 is an A Day

  • Your P3 Term Grades will be final in Powerschool no later than this Friday, March 5th.  Continue to check Powerschool andProgress Report Canvas to ensure all assignments are turned in and that you use ACES Tutoring for help if needed.

  •  New Club! If you would like to join a club regarding the advocacy of women's rights and promoting female leadership at our school, please contact Angelina Rosete at ajrosetehp@gmail.com or DM me on Instagram @ajrosete!

  •  Yearbook Portrait Info -

    FRIDAY, MARCH 5th is the LAST DAY to SUBMIT PORTRAITS for the 2021 YEARBOOK! 

    If you do not submit a portrait by the deadline, in most cases we will use the picture we have on file from last year. 

    Detailed instructions are in your STUDENT SANDI EMAIL which you can check through your google drive/gmail. 

  • Class of 2023 Fundraiser Class of 2023 is selling T-shirts to fundraise. If you are interested in ordering a t-shirt, there is a google form on the class instagram which is MBHS_2023. They will be $15. If you cannot access the form or have any questions contact Tatum Roistacher at this email tatumroistacher@icloud.com 

  • ACES Tutoring - We are proud to announce that ACES on zoom now offers tutoring in Spanish every TU and TH from 3:30 to 5:00! As we approach Q3 report cards, please encourage your student to visit ACES for additional support. In addition to our new parent volunteer Spanish tutor Sr. Delgado, we offer help in English, History, Math, Science, and Writing from MB teachers and university volunteers.   • Yearbook Update We are finalizing our amazing 2021 Yearbook with our theme Living Through History, so if you are a 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grader and you have any photos or content you would like to submit please send them to mbhs.seniors2021@gmail.com. There are limited copies available and we are on our way to another sellout, so reserve your copy now at jostens.com.

ASB Announcements

  • Women's History Month Facts of the Week - March 2021
  • Womens History Month
    •  Fact 1 - Feb. 28, 1909 marked the first Woman's History Day in New York City. It commemorated the one-year anniversary of the garment workers' strikes when 15,000 women marched through lower Manhattan.
    •  Fact 2 - An education task force in Sonoma County, California, kicked off Women's History Week on March 8, International Women's Day in 1978, according to the National Women's History Alliance. They wanted to draw attention to the fact that women's history wasn't really included in K-12 school curriculums at the time.
    •  Fact 3 - Since 1995, every president has issued a proclamation declaring March Women's History Month

  • Course Requests for Next Year - Your course requests are now viewable in Power School. Please look them over ASAP. More info about our courses are here. If you have any questions or concerns about your course requests, please email or text your counselor.

Senior Announcements

  • IMPORTANT! Class of 2021: Ms. Harpster, Mission Bay Registrar, is working on diplomas. We need all seniors to complete the form at the following link: https://forms.gle/bporDfniNJsL8Yky6. This form is to assure that your diploma is printed with your correct LEGAL name. Forms must be submitted by Friday, March 5, 2021.
