General Announcements

• This Friday (12/4) is a B Day
• End of Q2 Progress Report (P2) is this Friday (Dec 4th). Be sure that you have completed all assignments and submitted all work. This marks the middle of Quarter 2.
• Take advantage of ACES Virtual Tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-5pm. The schedule and more information are online https://missionbay.sandiegounified.org/students/aces_tutoring

Counseling Announcements

• This week is Career Week!  There will be Classroom Guest Speakers, Mini-lessons with counselors and Afternoon Workshops (@1pm( including SDCCD Career Pathways and Apprenticeship/Trades opportunities. Contact your counselor for more information. See Flyer

For Seniors

• Looking for some help with college apps? You can make an appointment for 1 on 1 help from your counselor
• Seniors - Please make sure to check on the Counseling 2021 Canvas for all the latest updates about college and financial aid planning! We have new resources and supports available to you.
• Seniors if you would like a copy of the 2021 yearbook, got to jostens.com. We have sold out the last five years in a row so reserve yours now! The price is $75 until January 29th.
• Seniors have 4 opportunities to participate in the 20-21 yearbook:
  1. Senior Portrait - If you have not taken your Senior Portrait with Prestige, start here to create an account and make an appointment     
  2. Baby Bucs - Due by Dec 18th Submit an image of yourself as a baby/child. Baby Buc Google Form
  3.  Senior Quotes & Selfies,- Due by Dec 18th Submit a self photo (portrait-style, i.e torso up) along with a quote of your choice (the google form will allow a max of 150 characters).  Senior Quote Google Form  
  4. Senior Yearbook ADs - Create your own personalized AD with your own photos and content. 1/4, 1/2 or full pages are available to reserve at Jostens.com (Under Yearbook Ads) or contact rlancia@sandi.net

Tell Your Parents

• Progress Reports for Q2 (P2) - term ends this Friday, Dec 4th.  Please help your students submit all assignments and complete all work. P2 Progress Report Grades will be final in Powerschool on Fri, Dec 11th.
