General Announcements

  • Mission Bay Students and Staff, I am very proud of the work you all have been doing over the first five weeks of the school year, keep up the outstanding commitment to education as we continue through the nine week quarter.   • Q1 Progress Reports Grades available in Powerschool on Friday
  •  This week, Friday 10/9 is an B Day
  • Members of fall sports who want to submit a Homecoming pep rally video on behalf of their team should contact Coach Palacios at - Submissions are due by October 7th.
  • Join GSA (Gender and Sexualities Alliance) - reminder that our first club meeting of the school year is this Tues at 1pm via Zoom.
  • LGBTQ History Month Facts of the Week:
    1. One in five trans youth report not having their correct pronouns used in school. Let’s change that!
    2. Did you know that October 11th is National Coming Out Day? Remember to support others and be kind. 
    3. Books about LGBTQ+ issues  are often banned. Since it’s LGBTQ+ History Month, why not try reading a banned book? For more info, visit the link:

  • Virtual Mask-Arade Homecoming Court Ballot

Don't forget to vote for your Virual Homecoming Court on Wed, 10/7! Use the following Google Form Link (ballot will be open from 9am-9pm). You MUST use your email to access the form and YOU MAY ONLY vote for the staff Emperor/Empress and YOUR CLASS category- ballots with multiple class selections will be thrown out.

  • Seniors and Families! It's College and Career Planning Season... Seniors - please check your emails for the last two messages about an important survey, transcript requests, college planning resources and more.

Tell Your Parents

  • Please complete your Annual Enrollment Forms - Parents/Guardians should have received an email with the instructions to complete this year's annual enrollment forms digitally.  Please complete these forms this week.  See here if you missed the information. 
  • Report Cards and Progress Reports will not be mailed this year.  To see student grades for Quarter 1 Progress Reports, available on 10/9, log in to your Parent Portal account.  
  • If you do not have a Parent Portal account set up, please contact Andrea Griffin to request information. 
  • The 2021-2022 School Year Choice Enrollment window opens today, Mon 10/5, for families wishing to come to Mission Bay High School but do not reside within the neighborhood boundary.  Current students do not need to re-apply, they will automatically be enrolled next year.  Applications are being accepted from 10/5 - 11/16.  For more information, visit Enrollment Options.
