  • SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL STUDENT - Would you be interested in serving on the Mission Bay High School Site Council next year as a student representative?  To nominate yourself or a fellow student, you may submit your name in an email to Erin Leszynski by Friday September 10th.
School Site Council is composed of equal numbers of staff and parent/student representatives who serve a two-year term.  They meet eight to 10 times a year to oversee the implementation of various programs in the school, including state and federally-funded programs.  The School Site Council is a governing body that is responsible for deciding how to spend approximately a portion of categorical money to improve the instructional program here at Mission Bay High School. Each school in the district receives a different amount of money, based on enrollment.  The School Site Council members work together, to set goals, for improving student achievement at the school and allocating the funds to accomplish those goals.
For the coming school year, we have one student opening.  Please contact our current member if you have questions.  The student is Olivia Grebing.
Our first meeting for newly elected members will be Wednesday, September 29, from 7:30 to 8:30 am via zoom. The membership term is September 2021 through September 2022.
Agendas for meetings are posted on our website 72 hours prior to the meeting and we post the minutes on our website.  All parents and members of the public are welcome to attend.
