Greetings MB Families!

 

  • Grade 11 students will be taking the required California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) 4/15 - 4/19.  All 11th grade students will need to bring their fully charged school issued device and headphones (headphones will be provided for students who do not have their own).  Please remind your student to bring their fully charged device Monday!   • The progress reporting period ends on Friday, April 19th.  Encourage your students to take advantage of our free tutoring program in the library.  ACES Tutoring is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 - 8:30 am and Monday - Thursday from 3:30 - 5:00 pm.

 

  • The MBHS Counseling Department is implementing our annual wellness weeks from April 15-26. In collaboration with a number of community partners, we will have a variety of mini lessons on wellness topics, guest speakers, and presentations including the following: Suicide prevention, substance misuse prevention, human trafficking, and healthy relationships. There will also be a lunch resource fair on April 18 and a de-stressing event in the library April 24.   • The Post-High School Transition Fair will be held on April 15th, 4:30-6:30 pm, at Lincoln High School. All Students, Families, and Staff are welcome! While this event is sponsored by SDUSD’s Special Education Department, there will be resources available for ALL students. Please share this information with your families!

  • Join us on Sunday, April 21, 2024, for the 8th Annual Schoolyard Dash 5K and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run!

Run, walk, or just enjoy the morning at beautiful De Anza Cove at Mission Bay. The 5K run/walk benefits Pacific Beach Middle School and Mission Bay High School through the joint parent-teacher organization, Friends of Pacific Beach Secondary Schools (FOPBSS).   • 2024-25 DISTRICT MESSAGE ABOUT ATHLETIC PHYSICALS

2024-25 athletic physical packets will be posted to athleticclearance.com on Friday, June 7, 2024.  For the 2024-25 school year, all physicals will need to be completed after that date s(Friday, June 7, 2024) to be covered for the entirety of the 2024-25 school year.

  • If your child needs to leave school early, please have them stop by the Attendance office before school with a parent or doctor note so that they can get their Blue Slip.  Alternatively, you can contact the office at least 1 hour in advance by email [email protected] or call (858) 536-0136 option 2 or press #3032
