San Diego Unified School District offers bus transportation in a limited capacity. Please check with the Transportation Department for the latest information and rates: www.sandi.net/transportation.
Starting August 8, 2025, parents and students can view their bus route info in Powerschool. You can view the latest and previous week's bus route information by clicking the new Bus Route Information icon. Changes from the previous week's route will be marked with an asterisk (*) for easy reference.
Public Transit
San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) serves the Pacific Beach area with direct routes from La Jolla UTC, Kearny Mesa, Old Town and Downtown San Diego. (See bus routes 30, 27 and 9.) For more information, visit the MTS website.
MTS offers a FREE bus pass to students 18 and younger that can be used to get to and from school.
